This Privacy Policy explains how TradeSave ("we," "us," "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the TradeSave mobile app. By using TradeSave, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What we collect depends on how you use TradeSave:
| Account | Your name and email address (for sign-in), and the trade, note, and watchlist data you choose to enter into the app. |

| Account size (optional) | If you choose to enter an account size and currency, we store them to show your portfolio value. You can leave this blank or change it any time. |
| Subscription | Whether your TradeSave Pro subscription or free trial is active, which plan, and when it renews or ends. We receive this through Apple and our subscription service. We do not receive your card, billing address, or Apple ID details. |
| Trade data | Symbol, entry/exit prices and dates, quantity, fees, your own notes and ratings, and any screenshots or reference links you attach. |
| Preferences | Display currency, theme (light, dark, or system), and similar app settings. |
We do not collect your address, phone number, government ID, or any payment or banking information. Payments for TradeSave Pro are processed by Apple, not by us.
We use account information only to operate the app: authenticating you, storing and syncing your journal data across your devices, calculating the statistics and achievements you see in the app, and checking whether your subscription is active, and sending account-related emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset). We do not use your trading data to train any model, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing profiling.
TradeSave is built on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, strictly to make the app work:
| Supabase | Our backend database and authentication provider. Stores your account and journal data securely, with access restricted to your own account. |

| Apple | Processes your TradeSave Pro purchase and subscription through the App Store, under Apple's own privacy policy. |
| RevenueCat | Manages subscription status for us. It receives your random account ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device and store information. It does not receive your trades or notes. |
| Resend | Sends transactional emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset) on our behalf. Does not receive your trading data. |
| Market data providers | When you look up a stock, the app sends the ticker symbol to our market data provider(s) to fetch prices, charts, and company information. Your account identity and trading history are never sent to these providers. |
We don't share your trading data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party, and we don't sell your information.
Your data is protected with row-level access controls, so your journal entries are only ever readable by your own account — not by other users, and not by us browsing freely. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect your information.
We retain your account data for as long as your account exists, including while a subscription is inactive. If you delete your account, your trades, notes, watchlist, and account record are permanently removed from our systems.
TradeSave is a financial journaling tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this policy as the app changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
